Why is more offensive than violence?

Personally I find the thought of watching people hurting each other, or watching people in a bad way (sadism - casualty/holby city/xyz trash program on tv), much more disturbing than watching people doing the perfectly natural action of mating....the fact that is offensive to women alot and bla bla has nothing to do with it, by nature doesn't have to degrade women (that I disagree with strongly aswell). I just think that in many people's minds, the thought of anything ual and involving children is somehow worse than violence and involving children (even though children will learn about eventually whether they're tought or not, and rightly so - but hopefully they'll never carry out violence).
