How to build horse jumps????? All ideas welcome!?

hi i have just got a pony and we jump 3ft courses regularly but i have no jumps to practice with, i was planning on buying but their so expensive, i have used hay bales- but their to messy and hay goes everywhere, and barrels- all other ideas welcome thanks in advance!
