Seniors, do you remember any of the odd little verses and stories we learned as children?

A lot of them were morbid. I think most were meant to teach children of dangers or to teach morals. Someone chastized me for telling a scary story to my children (they loved it) & I said, 'In 'Little Red Riding Hood', the wolf EATS HER GRANDMA!' Shut 'em up.
