Why do Atheists and Christians CONSTANTLY fight on here?

There is a particular kind of Christian and a particular kind of atheist who argue on here. They probably have more in common with each other than with other Christians and atheists, in that they are closed-minded, simplistic and think in black and white. They also both have the same interpretation of the Bible. Whereas there are plenty of other people in both groups who aren't like that at all, they don't generally hang out here. I think maybe we should just let them have their fun. They may not be good listeners.
