A question for the scientific community?

we all know that black holes are an anomaly that we cannot explain where they go, what if nasa was to launch a new project to send an unmanned space shuttle into a black hole. in theory space is like a fabric so what if a black hole is simply a bending of space, if so than it could be a major breakthrough. is this possible or not, and why does it seem like im the first to propose this theory
