My friends computer is messed up and they asked to use my Windows XP disc.?

When they put the disc in, it says that they need the authorization code that came with the disc which is registered in my computer. If I give her the authorization code and it is installed into her computer that wont have any effect on my computer or my disc will it? I am totally not a computer geek...Thanks for your help!
