Are consumers getting ripped off on the prices of healthy foods?

Who can afford healthy food? I'm having trouble affording marginal food versus UNhealthy food. I can buy a double cheeseburger for $1.19, or a 1/2 pound bean burrito for $1, but buying the ingredients to make a meal at home is going to run me about $3 or $4 per person. Value menus at fast food restaurants are fast becoming the staple of poor families while fresh fruits and vegetables have been out of reach for years.
